We believe that using izwe to have your say and interact with others in your community should be an enjoyable, comfortable and safe experience. We are therefore committed to making sure that all our users, including young people, can feel safe and secure when online.

Our community guidelines set out some ground rules for all izwe users, the privacy settings which allow users to control the personal information they share with others, as well as the general abuse reporting process: are all there to help make izwe a safe online environment.

In addition to this, we have adopted an easy-to-use reporting tool specifically designed for young people using the internet. This tool has been created by the UK’s official Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre.  

If you are under 18 and come across any content on izwe that makes you feel uncomfortable, upset or threatened, you can report this at http://www.ceop.police.uk/report-abuse/. We also ask you to report this directly to us by emailing legal_at_izwe.com so that we can immediately react to such content.
